Sr. Landman

Job Summary

The Senior Landman will be responsible for all aspects of land work with in GME assets (Bakken/North Dakota)

Essential Job functions and Responsibilities

· Manages the acquisition, maintenance, and preparation of properties for drilling and production of wells

· Coordinates all activities connected with property through the life of the property

· Acts as company representative with external counterparts for the development of properties

· Fields inquiries and resolves issues with mineral owners, land owners and working interest partners

· Interacts with other disciplines and management in a team environment to accomplish company goals

· Assists in projects related to acquisitions and divestitures as requested

· Propose, negotiate, review and prepare Agreements (JOA’s, Farmouts, etc.) with third parties

· Review, understand and manage title opinions and curative

· Liaison with Natural Gas midstream group on operational matters

· Solid understanding of state/governmental regulatory systems, and participate in regulatory process as needed

Qualifications and Skills

· 10+ years of experience in oil and gas Land profession

· Proficient in: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word

· Preferred/Not Required: Spotfire, Proficient with W Land System

· High level of diligence and attention to detail

· Proactively seeks opportunities for improvement

· Well organized and detail oriented

· Encourages new ways of looking at problems, processes, or solutions

· Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or higher Business, Finance, Economics, or other related discipline
